I’m at my father’s house (he passed away in real life in 2023) and I know he has passed but I hear his voice outside. I duck down to listen because I miss his voice and I’m afraid it will go away. He asks me if I want to ride bikes and I say ok. We go into the back yard and suddenly my younger sister is there on roller skates. Dad gets on a bike that has a child stroller attached to the back. It’s a little tangled so I straighten it out for dad. But I didn’t do it correctly so he hops off and fixes it. A huge surrealistic body of water like a large lake is lapping into the yard. I watch as my sister skates and my dad rides into the water and I follow. The skates I am wearing are childish plastic fisherprice brand and they are clumsy. My sister asks me, “are we starting our business?” And my dad is curious as we are all swimming to shore. “Are you starting a swim school too?” He asks. “No, a nail salon,” my sister answers. “But the nails are already painted.” Suddenly we are all in a beauty supply store walking around looking for product to buy.
